Day 334 – In transit to Granada, Spain

After a sleepless night last night due to drilling noises outside of our hotel (which started at 11:40pm and lasted well into the am hours), we gladly said goodbye to Morocco this morning. We hopped on the 11:00am ferry which took us to Tarifa, Spain. From Tarifa, we got on a shuttle bus which drove us to Algeciras. In Algeciras we enjoyed a very late lunch prior to getting on our scenic four hour train ride to Granada. We basically spent the entire day in transit today. Although it was a long journey, we’re extremely excited about exploring Granada over the next couple of days because we have read so many amazing things about it.

(Goodbye Morocco!)

  1. I’m glad that you’re back to more scenic and restful areas! Aren’t many of the European trains wonderful?
