Day 317 – Obidos, Portugal

Today Ryan and I took a day trip to Obidos, an enchanting Portuguese town just an hour north of Lisbon. Obidos is simply AMAZING with its narrows streets and colorfully outlined white houses. We had an incredible time exploring this romantic little city. We roamed Obidos’ adorable streets, walked on the city walls, and enjoyed a delicious Portuguese lunch at a local restaurant. I absolutely fell in love with Obidos!

  1. Is there any meaning to the blue and yellow paint?

While the town may be charming, I’d have trouble walking on all of those cobblestones!!!

  2. What does a typical Portuguese meal consist of?

    • Hey Bon Bon… the typical meal begins with soup and bread. The main course is usually comprised of some sort of fish (all varieties), potatoes, and other veggies. 🙂

I wish I had taken more photos when I went there. It was a very charming town. I love your photos. 🙂

    • Thank you Pinay… Obidos is an incredibly charming little Portuguese town. I really enjoyed it and I’m so glad you’ve had the opportunity to experience it as well. 🙂
