Day 315 – Lisbon, Portugal

After 11 fabulous days of cruising on the Mediterranean, this morning we said goodbye to our ship “Vision of the Seas”. Although our cruise had sadly come to an end, we were very excited about arriving in Lisbon. Our first order of business was to catch up on our digital lives. We did so by enjoying the plush comforts and free internet access at a McDonald’s Café. In the afternoon, we met up with our awesome Portuguese friend Alvaro whom we were THRILLED to see (it has been over three years since we hiked the Inca Trail together). We had a great time catching up. In the evening, Alvaro took us to a delicious traditional Portuguese restaurant and drove us through Lisbon pointing out the main sites for us to explore over the course of the next several days. Ryan and I feel so blessed to have such amazing friends in our lives.

What do they use Costillo de Grabralfaro for? Looks like entertain or sports center ?

    • Hi grandpa… currently it is primarily used as a tourist attraction. It contains a museum and a café. Also it offers some GREAT views of the city 🙂
