Day 262 – Munich, Germany

We continued to explore Munich this afternoon. First we visited the beautiful Nymphenburg Palace where we enjoyed today’s gorgeous weather in the royal gardens. After grabbing some gelato, we proceeded to visit Munich’s Olympic Park (host to the 1972 Olympics). While in the Olympic Park area we also visited the BMW Welt showroom to take a quick look at the latest in German auto engineering. Once we were done with sightseeing on the outskirts of Munich, we returned back to the city center to admire some additional landmarks we missed yesterday.

  1. You’ve had incredible weather–better than here! The Olympic stadium looks awesome! Next time you go to Munich, you’ll need to watch the Marienplatz cuckoo clock; it’s spectacular!

    • Thanks aunt Jan… we feel truly blessed to be enjoying such wonderful weather given this time of the year. I’ll definitely have to see the cuckoo clock in action the next time we’re in Munich. 🙂
