Day 220 – Venice, Italy

We continued to explore beautiful Venice this afternoon. Venice is like an intricate maze, making it very easy to get lost (but in a good way). The city center is quite large so you can spend hours just wandering. Although we most enjoy getting off the beaten path, today we made sure to visit Piazza S. Marco. We stood in line to get into the Basilica di San Marco but it was definitely worth the wait. The mosaics covering the Basilica’s ceiling are INCREDIBLE!
