Day 203 – Paris, France

This morning we said goodbye to England and got on a plane heading for Paris. Our flight with British Airways was smooth and brief (one hour). Upon arriving in Paris we checked into our hotel, dropped off our bags, and quickly began exploring the city center. We could not help but make the Eiffel Tower our first stop. After relaxing on the lawn while admiring this majestic structure, we walked to the Arc de Triomphe. Paris is AMAZING… it is truly a romantic and beautiful place. I can’t wait to see more of it tomorrow!

Bonjour Jola et Ryan! I hope that you’re enjoying “Gai Paris” as much as I do! Going to the top of the Eiffel Tower, you can see all the sections of Paris. However, if finances are a concern, save your $$ for a “bateau mouche” night ride on the Seine River; it’s really good. The Latin Quarter is a must, too, with Notre Dame and all the restaurants. Are you going to the Louvre? I could add a bunch more to the list, but I don’t know how long you’ll be there.

    • Thank you aunt Jan for all the suggestions… that is exactly what we did today. We visited the Louvre, Notre Dame, and the Latin Quarter. Paris is absolutely stunning… we love it! We’ll be here for 2 more days…
