Day 200 – The Slaughters & Oxford, England

This afternoon we continued to explore England’s charming countryside by visiting Lower Slaughter Village and Upper Slaughter Village. To get there, we drove through picturesque Cotswolds. The Cotswolds are comprised of beautiful rolling hills, farms, and lush vegetation. Next we headed to Oxford where we spent the remainder of the day. Our walking tour of the University of Oxford was wonderful (we saw so many important historic buildings and institutions).

  1. Aunt Jan Says:

In other parts of England, all of those bicycles would disappear!

Oxford is an old area, but has the European charm. Just think of how well all of those buildings were constructed.
