Day 199 – Tintern & Cardiff, England

Today we explored Southern Wales. First we visited Tintern Abbey, a Cistercian monastery dating back to 1131 AD. The location of Tintern Abbey is absolutely beautiful (very remote setting in a hilly landscape). Once we were done admiring the Abbey, we headed to Cardiff for the remainder of the day. In Cardiff, we visited the historic Cardiff Castle and took a walking tour of the city center.
