Day 173 – Seoul, South Korea

Today we continued to explore Seoul despite Korea’s current “rainy season” conditions. First we visited the beautiful Gyeongbokgung Palace complex which is auspiciously situated next to two very beautiful mountains. It was very interesting to see the changing of the guards at the Palace (as the guards were wearing traditional Korean dress). Next we proceeded to visit the Korean Folk Museum where we learned a ton about Korean history and culture. In the late afternoon, we strolled through various stores at the Dongdaemun Fashion Town (a shopping mecca). Seoul is a great city giving off a wonderful vibe, even in the rain.

The picture of the pine tree is absolutely beautiful! Maybe you’ve found a second career!
