Day 146 – Osaka, Japan

Today we explored Osaka. We purchased all-day subway passes and then headed to the beautiful Osaka Castle Museum. After enjoying Osaka Castle’s serene Japanese gardens, we visited Kaiyukan (Osaka Aquarium). Kaiyunkan is home to the very popular whale shark and other very interesting marine wildlife. I especially enjoyed the jellyfish exhibit. We concluded the day by having dinner in the Dotombori neighborhood. Japan is absolutely wonderful. Japanese people are extremely courteous, the streets are very clean, and the infrastructure is impeccable.
