Day 139 – Bangalore, India

As IT professionals, Ryan and I were excited to explore Bangalore today (India’s leading hub for IT services). We decided to begin the day by taking a stroll to Cubbon Park. Since our free tourist map was not very detailed, we ended up wandering the streets of Bangalore before finally arriving at Cubbon Park. During our “walking tour” we saw many corporate offices of companies such as IBM, AMD, etc. After enjoying the lush greenery at Cubbon Park, we proceeded to visit several nearby government buildings. Vidhana Soudha (Bangalore’s White House) is a beautiful structure. Unfortunately we could only admire it from a distance since locals are not allowed near it. We concluded our day with a visit to Mantri Mall (India’s largest mall).

It seems that in many cities, the parks are reverent spaces. It’s too bad that the rest of the townsa aren’t kept clean! The two of you could have gone into IBM to inquire about jobs!!! LOL
