Day 136 – Old Goa and Panjim, India

Per the recommendation of my good friend Prashant, today we explored Old Goa. We hired a friendly driver for the afternoon who took us around. First we visited Old Goa’s Church Complex which is home to several BEAUTIFUL churches built by the Portuguese. After admiring Old Goa, we headed to Panjim which showcases charming Portuguese architecture. We concluded the day by kicking up our feet and enjoying a delicious sunset dinner (the sunsets in Goa are amazing).

  1. Aunt Jan Says:

Great pix, especially the one looking through all of the arches and of course, the beach shots!!! You win the award for cleverness, sizing up the setting sun! LOL!

  2. I love the “feet” photo. That looks like the logo for a retirement/vacation pamphlet.
