Day 130 – Udaipur, India

We woke up early today to begin our scheduled tour of Udaipur. The rickshaw driver we hired for the day took us to some very interesting places. We visited a few lookout points, a couple of museums, a local spice market, a mausoleum of the royals, and a beautiful garden commissioned by the queen (Sahelion-Ki-Bari Garden). One of the museums we visited showcased Indian puppeteering which originated in this region (Rajasthan). It was quite entertaining seeing a live puppet show… the performance we witnessed was hysterical. In the evening, Dori attended an Indian cooking class while Ryan and I relaxed in the AC after a blistering hot day.
