Day 119 – Dhikuli Village, India (Corbett National Park)

Since we arrived very late at our hotel last night, today we slept in and enjoyed a leisurely day. After booking our safari along with our train tickets for our return journey to Delhi, and assisting the owner of our hotel with some computer issues, we decided to explore the natural world around us. We visited a local Hindu temple by the river and took a walk along a forest road (where we encountered some aggressive monkeys which was quite an experience – I’ll let my husband Ryan share the details of our meeting in his next blog post: http://rthorat.wordpress.com/). Dhikuli Village is surrounded by so much natural beauty. There is lush greenery everywhere and as we learned today, the wildlife here truly is wild.
