Day 56 – George Town, Malaysia (UNESCO World Heritage City)

I can’t believe it is March already and we are beginning our THIRD month of travels! Time sure does fly when you are having fun. Today we took a walking tour of George Town, a strikingly charming Malaysian city with many impressive historic buildings. George Town was founded 200 years ago making it the oldest British settlement in Malaysia. Our tour took us through Fort Cornwallis and many other remarkable structures which were influenced by the various ethnicities of the region (Chinese, Indian, Arab, Malay, European, Burmese, etc.).
