Day 52 – Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

We continued to explore Kuala Lumpur on foot today. Normally we would take advantage of the transit system to get around town, but due to the heavy traffic in KL, one can walk faster than riding on the bus (unfortunately KL does not have a subway system). Our walking tour took us to Merdeka Square, National Mosque, Chinatown, and KL’s City Center Park. As we passed by the National Mosque, we had the opportunity to observe Friday prayers (Malaysia is a Muslim country with many devoted individuals).
