Days 15, 16, 17, 18, and 19 – Milford Track and Milford Sound

The past five days have been INCREDIBLE!!! Our four day hike on the Milford Track was gorgeous, physically challenging, and very enriching. We have witnessed spectacular scenery (beautiful fiords, lush rainforests, crystal clear rivers, and breathtaking waterfalls) and have met some amazing people from many parts of the world. Today we spent the day at Milford kayaking on the Milford Sound… it was beyond words! Milford Sound is absolutely majestic. After spending a full day at Milford, we enjoyed our bus ride back to Te Anau on the very scenic Milford Road. In the evening we drove to Queenstown, our next destination.

Wow, Jolanta! Amazing! Did you camp on the Milford Track or stay in hostels? Take Care, Anne

    • Thanks Anne… we camped in the huts that are located along the track (you have to book them 6 months in advance – only 40 independent hikers are allowed on the track per day)…🙂

  7. I am envious.
