Day 39 – Sydney in depth
Today we did some more in depth exploration of Sydney’s many attractions. We visited the Anzac Memorial (a beautiful tribute to the soldiers of WWI), St. Mary’s Cathedral, and Hyde Park. Proceeding, we strolled through Sydney’s Royal Botanic Gardens on our way to the Art Gallery of New South Wales and the Sydney Opera House (where we went inside to admire its stunning architecture). We then crossed the Harbor Bridge to get a panoramic view of the city skyline and of the Opera House. The day ended at the Sydney Aquarium where we enjoyed observing two giant dugongs feast on lattice (the aquarium’s shark exhibit was also extremely impressive).

Wonderful scenery! Breath-taking sculpture works!
I have to say that I’m glad there was sufficient glass between you and the shark!
