Day 36 – Snorkeling on the Great Barrier Reef
Today was SPECTACULAR! We swam and snorkeled on the Great Barrier Reef, home to some of the most colorful coral and marine life on earth. To make this experience possible, we booked a day trip with a tour operator which took us to the Outer Barrier Reef. We sailed for about two hours prior to reaching our first snorkeling spot, Michaelmas Cay (an unspoiled coral cay). After some AMAZING snorkeling, we then headed to our next snorkeling destination, Paradise Reef. The natural beauty of what Ryan and I saw today underwater is beyond words so I won’t event attempt to describe it. I did however take a “few” underwater photos which I hope you’ll enjoy (please note: these pictures don’t do it justice). Cheers!

Amazing! I’m sure that the pix don’t do the scenery justice!

Yes, it was so hard to capture the vibrant colors with my camera, but it is better than nothing
