Day 24 – Back on the North Island (New Plymouth)

Today we left Nelson and drove to Picton to get on the ferry sailing back to the North Island of New Zealand. We then drove from Wellington to New Plymouth, exploring the west side of the North Island. The entire day today was dedicated to transit… hopefully this was our last long drive in New Zealand (due to so much practice, I’ve become an “expert” at driving on the left side of the road). Below are some friends we met along our drive today.

The Milford Track, Sound and Glaciers (sorry, a few days late) Looks AMAZING! I’m sure it was even more amazing in person. Awesome pictures!

  Hey Dori… it was INCREDIBLE, the pictures do not do it justice (it’s hard to capture the vivid colors and the 3D aspects of the scenery via a photo).
